apparently i'm getting a nice fat windfall christmas check from my grandmother for christmas.

going to get:
x christmas presents for friggin' EVERYONE
x groceries galore
x get all bills 100% up to date
x take dave out for a nice fun/romantic evening before he moves away (expected to depart wednesday)
x first couple months' gym membership
x greyhound ticket to baltimore to see family over christmas break

and the rest is going towards savings.

This year I've been busy!

In May I turned mmmgirl82 in for littering (3 points). Last month I put gum in del0300's hair (-12 points). In February I pushed 1brkasmneaolghe in the mud (-17 points). In January I donated bone marrow to rb4life34 in a life-saving procedure (300 points). Last Monday I gave adria13 a Dutch Oven (-10 points).

Overall, I've been nice (264 points). For Christmas I deserve a shiny red ball!

So, my biggest fear is death.
Silly or childish or what not, I don't care. It just is.

My worst fear as far as means of dying is being buried alive.

I just saw Kill Bill 2 for the first time a few days ago, and that scene has haunted me so that I haven't slept at all the last few nights straight (save but for a few hours of cat-napping here or there).

I seriously can't close my eyes without feeling as though I'm in a coffin.

It's so irrational and schizophrnenic, but I don't care. It just is.

Starting from whenever the hell I feel like waking up on 11/7 (Monday), I will officially be trying to quit smoking.

I bought a box of those Nicorette patches for my arm.

I feel bad that I have to start at the highest strength.

But it comes with a CD! As expected, it has terrible music and the man who's narrating it has a hypnotic voice.

I really really hope that I don't fall off the bandwagon, but I have to admit at least I tried to quit even if it doesn't work this time. From everything I hear it's best to start now instead of trying to start when I'm 40...

This is royally intimidating. I'm nervous as hell for tomorrow.

Things kind of suck a lot lately. I definitely need a pretty dramatic change, yet again. Another job, andother location, anything really. I wish more companies would pay for you to move.

Now, off to pick a language and pretend to study it, even though I'm just really flipping through the pages looking for surreal phrases to shout wherever I go.

also, without warning, i just learned that a small child and an out-of-town guest are going to be living with us for an indefinite period of time. (the child and guest are of totally unrelated to one another, btw.) the child is maybe 5 and the guest is nearly blind. no cleaning except for the dishes has been done. there are full ashtrays everywhere. the place reeks of cigarette smoke, beer, and dirty rabbit cage. the place is a death trap for the both of them. my bad roommate's responsible for all this and i wish bad, bad things for him because of it.

the child will leave with some mysterious crippling disease or electocuted from one of the many semi-frayed wires floating around the floor and walls. the blind girl will likely be severely injured.

our apartment needs extensive child-proofing to the point where it'd probably take at least a week to get everything done.

i'm calling the bad roommate and letting him know that if i come home tonight after work and it's not 100% immaculate, i'm going to ... ohhhhh i'm so pissed i can't even think of an appropriate method of homicide.
